Hey…

What are you looking up here for?

Bananagrams Letters

I made another graph yesterday.

I took all the Bananagrams tiles and counted how many there were of each letter.

We knew that we were missing one.

And we found out that it was an “E” because we only had 17 – instead of 18.

Quarters

I filled out most of the map.

But I still need Mississippi, District of Columbia, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, New Mexico, Wyoming, Kansas, and Nevada for my state quarter collection.

My Negative Nana

My Nana says she is 29 years old. Her birthday is next week.

But my DAD is 35 years old.

So that means my Nana was -6 years old when my Dad was born!!

My First Chart

Today I made a graph.

I rolled my poker dice 20 times and I counted how many 9s, 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings, Aces, and Jokers I got.

As you can see, I got more Jokers than anything else. And I didn’t roll any 10s.

This is called a bar graph.

Poker

Those are poker dice. ↑

I asked my Dad to teach me how to play poker, but he said it was too hard.

I kept asking, he kept saying “no”, but finally said, “okay”.

He remembered that he had some poker dice as a kid.

So we went to my Nana’s house to get them; she NEVER throws anything away.

In the first game I played, I took all my Dad’s money – $1.

I am learning how to play Sudoku.

It is a Japenese math puzzle. You have to use all 5 numbers in each row and in each column.
